20 - Where the white women at?

Crochet Top - Vintage $5, Black Cardigan - Vintage GAP $5, Brown Pants - Cut-off hand-me-downs $0, Belt - Hand-me-down $0,Shoes - Forever 21 $30, Hat - Forever 21 $15, Earrings - Costume Shop $5, Jewelry - Flea Market + Konstantino $5 - $3000

The title of this post, "Where the white women at?", is a line from the Mel Brooks movie Blazing Saddles, which is fantastically funny. So, where the white women at? In every single fashion magazine, to excess.

Imagine my delight to see the Vogue Italian spread featuring a line up of absolutely stunning models, all of whom are black.

Click on the pictures to see more from the spread.
Now if only we could see more racial diversity in every issue of every magazine!

Dear Magazine Editors,
We like our models like we like our Jelly Bellys: in every color and flavor, except for buttered popcorn.
That sounds like I'm making a statement about how models shouldn't eat fatty foods, but really it's just a statement about how buttered popcorn is the worst Jelly Belly flavor ever.

Love,
Madeline Pendeleton Hansen

Dear Models,

Please eat actual buttered popcorn as frequently as desired. Also, you are totally hot.
