I need to stop wearing these shoes. In retrospect, I should have gone with my black combat boots, but originally I had planned on wearing an amazing jacket with this outfit, and the shoes made more sense. Unfortunately, Los Angeles decided that it wanted to be one million degrees today, so the jacket will have to wait for another time. The jacket, though, is rather spectacular. I got it for $10 last weekend when shopping with Britney and Nicki. Here is a Mac-cam grab of it:
Can't you kind of tell how awesome it is? See, the whole outfit made a lot more sense with that jacket and my military purse. C'est la vie.
My blog has reached a point now where lovely companies are giving me lovely clothes gratis, and I feel that it is important to acknowledge and address that. I want you to know that I am never paid to wear any of the clothing, and that I only accept and wear items that I love. Every gift I receive is something I enthusiastically embrace and share with you because I genuinely think it's rad. For example, tomorrow I am going to wear a mega-cool floor-length black lace skirt that Lulu's sent over, and I'm pretty stoked about it. If you feel otherwise, by all means, let me know.
Also, I have just worked out what I think is going to be the coolest giveaway imaginable. You are going to love it, I promise, especially if you've been eyeing those amazing vintage-esque velvet burnout fringed kimono cardigans the way I have lately... I'm excited just thinking about it!
