111 - Big News! Let's do this thing.

Alright -- big news time! Chictopia users may have already seen that I was nominated for the Chictopia Influential Blogger of the Year Award! w00t w00t!

This is pretty much the most exciting thing in the world. Winning means that I get to go to New York Fashion Week with the fine team of rad gals over at Chictopia -- dream come true! Furthermore, American Apparel sponsors the winners with some amazing goodies. All in all, it's truly an honor to be nominated for something so amazing. Eight of us have been nominated, in total:

Look at us there, doing our thing! It's like a much cooler Brady Bunch. So, you know, get on over to Chictopia and cast your vote and all that jazz. Also, if you aren't a Chictopian, I recommend gettin' on there and givin' it a whirl. It's a wonderful community of fashion-minded folks and they have a great selection of articles on the community blog, Everybody is Ugly, that touch on a variety of interesting things.

And that's that! I'm a bit shocked to have received so much support and encouragement from ye ol' blogosphere in this, my first year of blogging. You all are incomparably nice to me, and I am fortunate to be on the receiving end of your generous and kind words.
