Yes, the roots of my hair are out of control. That won't be remedied for at least another week, though.
In other news, I am head over heels in love with loud clang-y hang-y Afghani necklaces right now. I can't stop wearing this black one. It seriously goes with everything. You also saw the brownish choker from my last post, which is a similar thing. Then, Brit picked up the coolest one I've ever seen! It's fluorescent orange-red.
How perfect is that outfit? She is a dressing genius, I swear.
Also, Kat and Casey wear these awesome necklaces pretty regularly.
I don't know if Kat's and Casey's are Afghani, but they feature a similar "I'll bet this makes a lot of awesome noise!" element. You can find these rad necklaces on Etsy and eBay for between $40-$200:

All these photos look lovely!

Ah those are such sick necklaces! I'm too petite to wear those types of necklaces, otherwise I totally would. And I'm loving your shorts

How petite? I'm 5'0" and they look perfectly good, so I don't doubt that you could pull one off!
DeleteThose necklaces are definitely fantastic. I'm also a big fan of what you've done with those shorts.
ReplyDeleteahhh that necklace is awesome! the coolest.

ReplyDeleteI love your photos *-*/
Girl I am in LOVE with your shorts! xxx
ReplyDeleteI AM OBSESSED WITH THESE FREAKING NECKLACES. I really wanted the coin choker that you guys had on TV, but I just couldn't manage to afford it. (I am so glad SOMEONE bought it, though! I was shocked it took so long to be sold, really.) I'm really combing the market for the perfect/ly affordable kuchi-style choker, and I'm often on Etsy looking for 'em.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I think mine's from India? Or is belly-dancer inspired. Since it was a birthday gift, all I know is that it was from eBay and around $20, so I know it isn't vintage... Could-a fooled me though!
And hey, I let my roots grow out quite a bit in favour of the blueish hair I had before re-bleaching it. It's all good! I kinda love how it looks with crazy coloured hair.
you look amazing!

WORD on the clangy necklaces. I think people can always hear me coming from a ways away because of a combination of loud shoes and necklaces. Also I'm super curious about your natural hair color. I realize thats, like, the weirdest thing I could wonder about.
ReplyDeleteLOVE your wood sandals in the first 2 pics.

ReplyDeletei love that you feature so many awesome other bloggers. Nice!
ReplyDeleteOk, now I REALLY have to get one of those necklaces.
ReplyDeleteOh, and you look stunning as always.
The necklaces are really nice, I like how chunky they look. I don't think I'd wear them myself, for some reason I'm horribly fussy when it comes to jewellery. It's a little obsessive actually. Anyway, I actually don't think your roots look bad at all.
ReplyDeleteI love the necklace and the braided hair!
