178 - 'Til things are brighter, I'm the man in black.

Dress - Thrifted, Belt - Vintage, Necklace - Flea Market, Shoes - Ehhh...I bought them a while ago from a place I'm trying not to endorse any longer so it will have to be our secret..., Cuff - c/o JFR

These photos are from last weekend, when Brit and Taylor and I went to the Foam Magazine party. We were there for a little while before ending up at a house show, where we were the most dressed up people in attendance. I kinda fit in, I guess... I mean, I did fix my fallen hem with a visible safety pin.

In honor of this all black outfit, I wanted to do a little all black post. The first part here is the Cash song to which my title is a reference:

    I've got to say... I love wearing all black. No matter how much crap my friends give me for owning very little color, I still buy mostly black clothing. So, as a result, I think this post is definitely my favorite from you.

    I am loving all the black! Severine's and Bebe's looks are some of my all time faves. I think it takes the right kind of person to be able to pull off all black well, but when done right it looks awesome.

    Whenever I don't know what to wear, I pull out an all black outfit out of the closet. Whenever I want to wear an all black outfit, everything seems wrong. It looks great on you and I want to dye my hair now because of you.

    I was so worried that wearing all black would group me into the 'scene kids' section (do those even exist anymore? IDK I have no idea what the kids are doing these days) so I've avoided all-blackness. I wore a long black coat with the dashiki from TV and some black tights and booties last weekend, and with my jacket buttoned-up, it looked like all-black, and my fiancée seemed to think it was cute. I guess being platinum blonde, wearing all black makes it more interesting? I've been feeling black a lot recently. I wonder if anything in my black-drobe will fit together...

    seriously, all black is the best thing to wear ever, bar none: you don't have to worry about matching items in your outfit, and if you go out in public you'll probably blend in pretty well...unless you're wearing a ski mask and carrying a crowbar, in which case people would probably just take off running in the opposite direction...sorry, i'm really tired ;p
