274 - Giveaway! Widow!!!

I'm, like, super dark and brooding guys. Look at me brood.

This sweater is one of my favorite articles of clothing right now. It looks awesome layered over dresses, and is super comfy to just throw on over a tank top with jeans. I saw one of these at Wasteland a couple of months ago, and it was the first time I remember really seeing a Widow piece out anywhere. I just grabbed it and kinda walked around the store slowly petting it (SO soft and cozy)...but then I did that really smart thing where I told myself, "You don't need this, Madeline. It's just a soft thing. Put the thing down and walk away." So, I put the thing down and walked away. But I kept thinking about it! And I went back to Wasteland to get it and -- horror of first world horrors -- it was gone!!! So, cut to a couple of months later and I'm working at the Original Cult and realize that Widow is one of their brands, and Brit, who handles their social media, is all like, "You should wear a Widow piece on your blog to show everyone!" and then I did a half-grimace-smile of maniacal joy and demanded the comfy thrashed sweater like a greedy little hell minion of selfishness, despite the fact that I knew very well the garter leggings would probably get the brand more promotion than this sweater.

Sorry, Widow. Maybe if you didn't make such comfortable shit, I would have just worn those garter leggings and more people would have paid attention because they are really fucking awesome and you can't exactly see how comfortable this sweater is through a computer screen so it's maybe not as eye-catching or whatever.
